Questions About Daycare?

Is Daycare The Same As Traditional Doggy Daycare?

No. Traditional daycare is often chaotic, lots of dogs in free play, minimal structure, and no real training or behavioural work. Our daycare is intentional. We focus on fulfilment, emotional regulation, and training reinforcement. Your dog goes home calm and sharp, not just exhausted.

Daycare works best for dogs who’ve already trained with us or are currently in a program, so we can reinforce the same structure and skills. If you’re just starting out, we typically recommend beginning with private sessions or Day Camp. For more complex behavior concerns. like aggression or severe reactivity, Board and Train may be the best starting point. Once your dog has that foundation, daycare becomes the ongoing reinforcement tool that keeps progress strong.

That depends on your goals. We require a minimum of once a week, but may recommend more to ensure your dog understands the environment. While once weekly keeps skills maintained, twice weekly provides consistent reinforcement. During your consultation, we’ll recommend a frequency based on your dog’s needs.

Yes, if they’ve trained with us. Dogs with reactivity or anxiety actually thrive in our structured environment because it’s predictable and calm. If your dog hasn’t trained with us yet, we recommend starting with private sessions, day camp, or Board and Train so they learn our method first.

We provide socialisation, but it’s guided, not chaotic. Dogs are grouped intentionally. We teach manners and appropriate behaviour in group settings. The goal isn’t “let them play freely,” it’s “teach them to be calm, polite, and confident around other dogs.”

Pricing depends on which program you choose (Day Train, Day Camp, Day Programmes) and your chosen frequency. Daycare is $45 plus tax per day, but we do have package options. We discuss investment during your consultation and work with you to find an option that fits your budget and your dog’s needs.
